This beautiful grade II listed building and former HQ of the Port of London Authority has 100 rooms, 41 residential apartments of which 31 units are in a FS run transient rental program, a stunning ballroom which has hosted the inaugural Reception of the United Nations, 5 meeting rooms, a stunning destination spa with 8 treatment rooms, hammam, steam, sauna and swimming and vitality pool, and a fantastic Food and Beverage offering including Cooper's Cut (Modern Steakhouse), Mei Ume (Chinese/ Japanese cuisine) and Rotunda (all day dining, afternoon tea & bar) The role As a Casual Banqueting Bartender, you will support the delivery of exceptional events by preparing and serving beverages with professionalism and efficiency. Working across a variety of functions, you will ensure bar service is smooth, organised, and aligned with Four Seasons standards. You will play a key role in creating a polished and engaging guest experience, maintaining consistency while working within a fast paced banqueting environment. You will also support the Banqueting Operations team to ensure bars are set up, operated, and closed in line with procedures and licensing requirements. What you will do Prepare and serve beverages efficiently during banqueting events Maintain strong knowledge of all bar products, including wines, spirits, and cocktails Deliver quick, accurate, and professional service to guests and service teams Set up and break down banquet bars in line with operational standards Ensure compliance with licensing regulations and weights and measures requirements Support the Banqueting Operations team to ensure smooth event delivery Maintain a clean, organised, and well presented bar area at all times Contribute to a positive, professional, and guest focused atmosphere What you bring Minimum of one year of bartending experience, ideally within a hotel or events environment Strong knowledge of wines, spirits, and mixed drinks Excellent communication and guest interaction skills A professional and reliable approach to casual work Good command of spoken and written English Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced environment A genuine passion for hospitality and guest service What we offer £13.86 per hour plus service charge based on hours worked Flexible part time casual shifts Excellent training and development opportunities Complimentary meals while on duty at Pepys Cellar, with refreshments available throughout the day Opportunities to build a career within a global hospitality brand Free uniform and professional dry cleaning Access to Wagestream for greater pay flexibility Employee recognition programmes Annual themed events and regular social, charitable, and sporting activities Schedule and hours Casual, part time role Shifts offered based on business needs, primarily evenings and event days Be part of something exceptional If you enjoy working in events, thrive in fast paced environments, and take pride in delivering high quality service, we would love to hear from you.
