www.pwc.com. The EUDM Engineer/Consultant supports the efficient management of the EUC asset life cycle and operations. This role involves store and inventory management, asset handling, and overseeing the deployment of software and hardware. As an EUDM Engineer/Consultant, you will add value by:
- Maintain an organized inventory store, ensuring secure storage of assets.
- Assist with managing EUC assets, including receiving, issuing, and disposing of retired assets.
- Participate in item destruction processes, such as degaussing and crushing.
- Conduct physical stock checks and assist with inventory reconciliations.
- Monitor stock levels and support EUDM operations like onboarding and device refresh.
- Liaise with vendors for hardware repairs and billing discrepancies.
- Assist in billing reconciliation and preparation of reports.
- Process PC/iPad loan requests and prepare devices for issuance.
- Assist with deploying software to user devices.
- Participate in global technology rollouts to meet technology, security, and business requirements.
- Collaborate on Cloud PC/VDI requests with users and the Global DaaS team.
- Resolve incidents and communicate with stakeholders on deployment issues.
Eligibility / Qualification Required:
- Education: NITEC or Diploma in IT/Computer Engineering.
- Experience: 2-3 years of working experience in an IT team. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Preferred Software/Scripting: Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and PowerShell scripting.
- Work Ethic & Soft Skills: Ability to work independently and as part of a team; Detail-oriented, organized, methodical, with strong follow-up skills and an analytical thought process; Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment; Agile and adaptable to change.
- Knowledge & Experience (Advantageous): Knowledge of ServiceNow; Experience in managing suppliers/vendors for services rendered.
