About the role The Information Technology and Data Specialist is responsible for assisting the Director of IT and Assistant Director of IT in ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance, and security of all technology systems, computer infrastructure, data, and voice communication services throughout the Resort. In this role, you will provide technical support to hotel operations, maintain critical business systems, and contribute to delivering a seamless technology experience for both employees and guests. What you will do Support the daily operation and availability of mission-critical hotel systems, including the Property Management System (PMS), Call Accounting, HSIA, PBX, and Food & Beverage Point of Sale (POS) systems. Assist in maintaining user accounts, permissions, system configurations, and documentation while providing systems administration support. Monitor and maintain server infrastructure, operating systems, and overall system performance, including troubleshooting and upgrades. Provide technical support for desktop operating systems, applications, hardware, and peripheral devices. Support hotel applications including back office, Sales & Catering, Human Resources, and other operational systems. Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues while minimizing service interruptions. Assist in implementing and maintaining Four Seasons IT Core Standards across the property. Participate in technology implementation projects, system upgrades, and new technology deployments. Provide technical support for conference rooms, events, guest technology requests, and business center services. Assist with administration of communication platforms, including Lotus Notes, VPN connectivity, and collaboration tools. Support system backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity procedures. Assist in maintaining wired and wireless network infrastructure, Active Directory, firewalls, and network security solutions. Coordinate with third-party vendors for system maintenance, repairs, and technology projects. Provide on-call support for critical hotel systems when operationally required. Perform any additional duties as assigned by the Director of IT or hotel leadership. What you bring Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field preferred. Minimum of 2–3 years of experience supporting IT infrastructure, systems administration, or hospitality technology environments. Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, desktop support, hardware troubleshooting, and Microsoft Office applications. Experience with server administration, Active Directory, network infrastructure, wired and wireless networking, and system security. Knowledge of hotel technology platforms such as Opera PMS, Micros POS, PBX, HSIA, or similar hospitality systems is preferred. Experience with system backups, disaster recovery, antivirus management, and infrastructure monitoring. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize multiple technical issues. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to support both internal users and hotel guests. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and documentation. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish. Ability to work independently, collaborate across departments, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced luxury hospitality environment. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and participate in on-call support as business needs require. Passion for technology, continuous learning, and delivering exceptional service.
