About the location: Four Seasons Resort Mallorca at Formentor, perched on the spectacular Formentor Peninsula and surrounded by panoramic views of the Mediterranean and the stunning landscape, first opened its doors in August 2024 following an extensive restoration and renovation of the historic property, originally inaugurated in 1929 on a vast private estate. After its successful debut, the resort will reopen to guests in March 2025, reaffirming its status as a unique destination of luxury and elegance on the island. About the Role The In-Room Dining Order Taker is the first point of contact for guests requesting Room Service. This role is responsible for providing a seamless and personalized ordering experience by accurately taking food and beverage orders, coordinating with the culinary and service teams, and ensuring every guest interaction reflects Four Seasons' exceptional standards of service. What You Will Do Answer all In-Room Dining calls promptly, professionally and with genuine care. Accurately take food and beverage orders while providing menu knowledge and personalized recommendations. Upsell menu items and promote daily specials whenever appropriate. Enter orders into the POS system ensuring all guest preferences, dietary restrictions and special requests are correctly recorded. Communicate effectively with the kitchen and In-Room Dining team to coordinate timely preparation and delivery. Monitor order status and follow up to ensure service standards are achieved. Handle guest requests, concerns and complaints professionally, ensuring prompt resolution. Maintain complete knowledge of menus, ingredients, allergens, wine and beverage offerings. Coordinate tray pick-up requests and communicate with service attendants. Support daily administrative tasks within the In-Room Dining operation. Follow Four Seasons standards, health and safety procedures, and food hygiene regulations. What You Bring Previous experience in Food & Beverage, In-Room Dining or luxury hospitality preferred. Excellent communication and telephone etiquette. Fluent English; additional languages are an advantage. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment. Positive attitude and passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences. Knowledge of POS systems is preferred.
