Eligibility / Qualification Required:

• Main Responsibilities:
  • Recommend, formulate, and implement data governance strategies, policies, standards, processes, and guidelines.
  • Recommend, establish, and manage data governance committees, coordinating cross-departmental data governance activities.
  • Define and manage data quality rules, metrics, and monitoring mechanisms.
  • Promote data governance-related training and awareness-raising activities.
  • Manage data governance tools and technologies, such as data catalogs, data quality tools, and data lineage tracking tools.
  • Execute audits and compliance checks of data governance policies and standards.
  • Identify and resolve data-related risks and issues.
  • Collaborate with business units and IT teams to ensure data governance needs are met.
  • Research and evaluate new data governance technologies and best practices.
  • Regularly report data governance progress and results to management.
• Required Experience:
  • 5+ years of data governance related experience.
• Required Skills & Knowledge:
  • In-depth understanding of data governance principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Familiarity with the data management lifecycle and related technologies, such as data warehousing, data lakes, data integration, and data quality management.
  • Possess excellent communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
  • Possess project management and problem-solving abilities.
• Preferred:
  • Data governance related certification is a plus (e.g., CDMP).
