Are you interested in Dutch multinationals in the real economy and do you enjoy working in a dynamic environment? Then start as a Senior Associate in PwC's Corporate Tax practice. As an advisor in our Corporate Tax Middle Markets practice, you work on tax issues for (operational) Dutch multinationals. We are the sparring partner for our clients and help them realize their strategy. Our clients are family businesses and companies held by private equity (portfolios). We also advise wealthy individuals (Quote 500) on asset management, business succession, and emigrations, among other things. We are a national business unit, allowing you to collaborate with many different people, but you will have a fixed team in your own office in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Eindhoven, or Groningen. We expect you to play an independent role with our clients. You will have direct contact and look for opportunities to further help clients with our knowledge and experience. You will have discussions/consultations with the Tax Authorities and collaborate with colleagues from other departments within PwC. You will build your own network and look for new opportunities. These are your most important responsibilities: You work with colleagues on fiscal questions of international private companies, such as portfolio companies held by private equity or large family businesses that have the majority of their activities in the Netherlands; You are involved in (cross-border) business restructurings, business succession within families, and with the tax consequences of acquisitions (interest deduction, transaction costs, etc.) including discussions/consultations with the Tax Authorities; Connecting with colleagues from other fields; Looking for new opportunities with clients and relationships and building long-term relationships with clients and relationships; Guiding people in the team in their development.
Eligibility / Qualification Required:
You are an ambitious tax specialist and want to boost your career. You are curious about developments in your field and driven to make a difference with your team. You are also innovative, entrepreneurial, and not afraid to challenge the status quo. You know how to make clever use of our AI solutions. In addition, the following is important:
- You have a completed university degree (WO opleiding) in Tax Law or Fiscal Economics and at least three years of relevant work experience;
- You enjoy actively collaborating in a multidisciplinary and digital environment;
- You have excellent command of both Dutch and English, both orally and in writing.
