Purpose The Residences Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for coordinating, supervising, and maintaining the cleanliness, presentation, and overall housekeeping standards of the Resort Residences. The role ensures all residences are prepared according to the highest luxury hospitality standards, providing an exceptional experience for residents, homeowners, and guests while supporting the efficient day-to-day operation of the Residences Housekeeping Department. Job Responsibilities General Is directly responsible for the day-to-day housekeeping operations within the Residences. Assists the Housekeeping Manager in executing daily operational requirements. Supervises and supports Residence Attendants to ensure departmental standards are consistently achieved. Assumes training responsibilities when required and acts as a role model by promoting teamwork and excellence. Attends all scheduled training sessions and departmental meetings. Provides operational, employee, and guest-related feedback to management. Demonstrates warmth, professionalism, and genuine hospitality when interacting with residents, homeowners, guests, and colleagues. Adheres to the Resort's Code of Conduct, grooming, hygiene, and safety standards. Works hands-on with the team during busy periods and operational demands. Promotes a safe, clean, and organized working environment. Performs any other duties assigned by management. Departmental Inspects residences, common areas, and assigned facilities to ensure compliance with Resort housekeeping standards. Ensures all arrival, occupied, departure, and vacant residences are cleaned, inspected, and prepared according to established standards. Maintains a high level of product knowledge and remains informed of Resort events and operational updates. Delivers exceptional service by anticipating resident and guest needs and resolving concerns promptly. Coordinates housekeeping activities with Front Office, Engineering, Security, Residences Operations, and other departments to ensure seamless service delivery. Monitors and follows up on maintenance issues, ensuring defects are reported and resolved promptly. Ensures all housekeeping equipment and chemicals are used safely and in accordance with MSDS procedures. Maintains housekeeping pantries, storage rooms, linen rooms, and service areas in a clean and organized condition. Assists with departmental administration, including daily reports, inspections, and documentation. Oversees linen, guest supplies, amenities, cleaning equipment, and inventory control within the Residences. Ensures all resident requests and work orders are completed within established service standards. Handles "Do Not Disturb" residences according to Resort policy while respecting resident privacy. Conducts quality inspections using the Resort's housekeeping benchmark standards and ensures all essential requirements are met. Ensures residences undergoing preventive maintenance or renovation are properly prepared before Engineering or contractors commence work. Prepares weekly staff rosters and ensures appropriate staffing levels to meet operational requirements. Conducts effective shift briefings and ensures complete handovers between shifts. Monitors outstanding tasks and ensures appropriate follow-up until completion. Updates and communicates housekeeping defects, service glitches, and operational issues before the end of each shift. Monitors Out-of-Order (OOO) and Out-of-Service (OOS) residences, ensuring timelines are met and management is informed of any delays. Ensures all arrival residences are inspected and released on time in accordance with Resort check-in standards. Assists with onboarding, training, coaching, and performance monitoring of new Residence Attendants, ensuring they are fully competent within the probationary period. Supports inventory counts, deep cleaning schedules, preventive maintenance programs, and annual housekeeping projects. Ensures confidentiality, security, and proper handling of residents' personal belongings at all times. Promotes a culture of continuous improvement, quality assurance, and luxury service excellence. Special Requirements Diploma or Certificate in Hospitality Management or a related field preferred. Minimum of three (3) years' experience in Housekeeping within a luxury hotel, resort, or branded residences environment. Minimum of one (1) year of supervisory experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; additional languages are an advantage. Good working knowledge of Opera, Fidelio, or similar Property Management Systems (PMS). Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Strong leadership, coaching, organizational, and time management skills. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to luxury service standards. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Knowledge of housekeeping chemicals, cleaning procedures, and health and safety regulations. Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required. Demonstrates professionalism, integrity, reliability, and punctuality at all times.
