As our new Cross-Domain Data Steward, you will: Manage day-to-day stewardship operations by monitoring, resolving data exceptions, and handling incidents across people, customer, engagement, and finance domains in line with PwC’s data stewardship policies. Own the master data lifecycle including creation, approvals, reconciliation, updates, duplicate resolution, retirement, and audit readiness across Opportunity-to-Engagement, Engagement Management, and Financial Accounting processes. Drive data quality improvements through domain-specific dashboards to monitor scores, manage remediation backlogs, and implement targeted enhancements for measurable impact. Curate and manage metadata by maintaining domain definitions and supporting approval processes for the enterprise data catalogue and onboarding new data assets. Build and nurture strong relationships across PwC Malta business units and the wider global data steward community to harmonize definitions, share best practices, and ensure master data consistency. Make the value of data visible by producing quality reports and insights that help leadership and domain owners make confident, data-driven decisions. Eligibility / Qualification Required:
- Education: Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, Business, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: Has 2–3 years of experience in data management, governance, or quality roles across multiple business functions.
- Understanding: Understands end-to-end data flows that span Marketing, Engagement Delivery, HR, and Finance processes.
- Technical Proficiency: Is proficient with key technical tools including Power BI (dashboards and semantic models), SQL (data profiling and reconciliation), Alteryx or similar low-code automation tools, Python (pandas, NumPy), and Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Copilot Studio).
- Skills: Brings strong communication and problem-solving skills to build trusted relationships and influence outcomes across diverse stakeholders.
- Attitude: Embraces collaboration and demonstrates eagerness to learn and adapt within a diverse and global team.
- Desirable:
- Familiarity with Collibra or similar enterprise data catalogues and metadata governance tools.
- Knowledge of ERP (Oracle Fusion, SAP S/4HANA), CRM (Salesforce), HR systems (Workday), or cloud data platforms (Microsoft Fabric, Databricks).
- Data governance certifications such as CDMP or DGSP.
