Do you want to help clients create value in a deal (M&A) context using AI? Do you want to work on high-impact problems across due diligence, valuation, integration, separation, and post-deal value creation? Do you enjoy building practical solutions using modern AI tools and techniques, while working closely with deal teams and clients? Does it appeal to you to turn ambiguous business challenges into working products and workflows at speed? Then apply immediately!
As a Deals AI Forward Deployed Engineer, you will work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting, analytics, and industry experience, helping our clients address complex business issues across the deal lifecycle. You will be embedded in deal teams where AI is playing an increasingly important role in how we generate insight, improve workflows, and create value for clients. You will work closely with Deals professionals and clients to identify opportunities where AI can solve real business problems. The work involves designing, building, and deploying bespoke solutions using a range of modern technologies, including Python, MCPs, APIs, large language models, retrieval-augmented generation, agentic patterns, and other AI tools and frameworks. You will focus not on theory for its own sake, but on applying the right techniques to solve practical problems in fast-moving deal environments.
In your daily job, your tasks will be the following:
- Designing, building, and iterating AI-powered tools, workflows, and applications for live deal and value-creation contexts;
- Working across the full solution cycle: problem framing, prototyping, testing, deployment, and refinement;
- Communicating technical ideas and outputs clearly to non-technical stakeholders, including clients and senior deal professionals;
- Identifying and addressing client and deal team problems where AI can create meaningful value;
- Working with the broader deal team (including financial due diligence, valuation and modelling, carve-out and integration, etc.) to incorporate AI-enabled solutions into the wider PwC offering;
- Contributing to internal innovation projects, helping identify reusable patterns, improve current ways of working, and build knowledge around new AI techniques and tools;
You will get the chance to be part of a growing team in one of the most successful Deals (M&A) practices in the market. You will work in multidisciplinary deal teams consisting of colleagues with different backgrounds and expertise, in which you are responsible for designing and delivering AI-enabled solutions.
