Eligibility / Qualification Required:
Minimum BS (Civil Engineering); MS Structural Engineering will be preferred
Experience: Minimum five (05) years of relevant post-qualification experience in civil works involving commercial, institutional, and infrastructure construction projects. JOB DISCRIPTION: a. Initiate tendering and bidding process regarding civil works on EPADS & PPRA. b. Prepare detailed cost estimates for projects, including materials, labor, and other associated costs. c. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to establish cost plans and budgets. d. Evaluate and assess the cost of design options, alterations, and repairs. e. Monitor and manage project budgets, ensuring that costs remain within approved limits. f. Track changes in design or construction work to adjust budget projections. g. Manage and prepare tender documents and contracts. h. Evaluate tender submissions and negotiate contract terms. i. Administer contracts, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions, and manage any variations. j. Measure and value completed work, ensuring payment to contractors and suppliers in accordance with contract terms. k. Prepare interim valuations, final accounts, and assist in settling any financial disputes. l. Ensure all work complies with statutory building regulations and quality standards. m. Any other duty related to civil work projects as assigned from time to time by Dir P&D & DD (Development).
