The company operates across 15 districts in Southern Punjab under a highly regulated environment aims to ensure compliance, legal soundness, and governance excellence in all aspects of its operations.

Eligibility / Qualification Required:
Mandatory Qualifications & Experience:
- LL.B from HEC-recognized university / institution. However, higher qualification like LL.M or Barrister-at-Law from a reputable institution will be considered an added advantage.
- Licensed Advocate of the High Court (mandatory).
- Minimum 15 years of post-qualification legal experience, of which at least 5 years must be in a leadership role as head of legal affairs department within a large-scale national / multinational corporate or public sector organizations relative to MEPCO or 15 years of legal practice, including a minimum of 10 years as an Advocate of the High Court.
- Proven track record of leading corporate legal teams, contract management, dispute resolution, regulatory matters, and strategic advisory to CEO / Board.
Essential Skills & Competencies:
- Demonstrated leadership capacity, exposure and Strong command over regulatory, corporate, commercial, labor, contractual, and procurement laws, with particular relevance to the power and energy sector.
- Strong understanding of NEPRA, SECP, PPRA, SOE Act 2023, and Companies Act 2017.
- Extensive experience in drafting and vetting complex agreements, including Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), MoUs, EPC contracts, and public procurement contracts etc.
- Expertise in litigation management, arbitration, dispute resolution, and engagement with regulatory and judicial forums
- Proven ability to develop and implement legal risk management frameworks and provide proactive, solution-oriented legal advisory to the Management and Board.
- Strong leadership, integrity, and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage high-stakes, sensitive, and time-critical matters.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with high proficiency in legal drafting and presentation in English.

- The prospective candidate must be a Pakistani Citizen.
- HEC equivalence is mandatory for foreign degrees.
- Government/Semi-Government/Autonomous body employees must apply through proper channel with NOC of the respective department issued on its letter head, which will also be required on day of interview.
- Candidates shall be required to produce all original documents at the time of interview.
