Eligibility / Qualification Required:
We are seeking a qualified and compassionate ICU Nurse to join a reputable healthcare organization in Dubai. The ICU Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered critical care to patients with life-threatening conditions. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, the ability to work in fast-paced environments, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit in accordance with established clinical standards and protocols.
- Continuously monitor patients’ vital signs, neurological status, and overall condition, and respond promptly to any changes.
- Operate and monitor advanced medical equipment such as ventilators, infusion pumps, cardiac monitors, and other life-support systems.
- Administer medications, IV fluids, and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Assist physicians during medical procedures and emergency interventions.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care, assessments, and progress.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Ensure strict compliance with infection control policies, patient safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families regarding treatment and recovery.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience in a hospital setting.
- Valid nursing license from home country.
- Eligibility for nursing license in Dubai (DHA eligibility, license, or willingness to obtain).
- Strong knowledge of critical care procedures, equipment, and patient monitoring.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle emergency situations effectively.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Experience in tertiary care or accredited hospitals is an advantage.
- Willing to work in Dubai.
