What does a job within PwC Business Services look like?

• Project Resource Solutions: As a consultant within our Project Resource Solutions team, you support our clients through temporary assignments in their work environment. You will be assigned to tasks in accounting, financial or business controlling, consolidation, support ERP projects, management reporting tools or interim management. You use the skills you acquired externally or within PwC to address workforce gaps for a few weeks or several months. You are part of the client’s finance team and you are interested in supporting different stakeholders within their company on different finance-related topics. Advise your clients, improve their processes, run operations within their finance department, and assist the client in building or changing their financial processes.
• SME Accounting and Advice: Whatever the business, small or larger, we have the experience and expertise to offer tailored operational solutions for each stage of the company’s growth, from strategy through execution. You work side by side with our clients on their accounting and tax compliance. You are interested to support them with the financial challenges they face, whether it is operational finance, tax compliance or related to reporting, consolidation or transactions (mergers, acquisitions, valuation,...).

To enhance our dynamic PwC Business Services team, we are seeking a motivated and experienced SME Accountant and Tax Advisor.
Your impact As a SME Accountant and Tax Advisor, you'll make an impact by:

• Being in charge of managing your own client portfolio and performing their tax and accounting obligations, such as drawing up annual accounts, personal income tax, corporation tax, VAT returns. In addition, you will be required to perform, according to the specific needs of customers, other diverse and varied tasks, such as reporting, budgeting, etc.;
• Getting the opportunity to work for diverse clients active in a variety of industries. That means that you will constantly evolve by learning new and different skills depending on the client’s needs;
• Managing your clients autonomously and being responsible for the communication with them. You will get the guidance of a manager and the help, if needed, from your competent and experienced colleagues;
• Becoming gradually a trusted advisor for your clients. You will constantly have an eye on the possible risks and different opportunities relevant to them;
• Supervising your team members and taking up quality assurance tasks in order to deliver results in a responsible manner.

Eligibility / Qualification Required:

• You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting /Tax/Finance;
• You have at least 2 to 8 years of experience in Accounting/Tax/Finance;
• The title of ITAA certified accountant/tax advisor is a plus;
• Your mother tongue is Dutch or French and you express yourself fluently in English;
• You are familiar with MS Office; any knowledge of other specialised programs is highly appreciated;
• You are able to work on your own and you have a good sense of responsibility;
• You are dynamic, flexible and professional.
