The Commercial & SME Banking Officer role involves preparing comprehensive credit proposals in compliance with internal policies and regulatory guidelines. The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring credit facilities are approved within the risk appetite of the Bank, monitoring accounts for early warning signals and taking proactive measures to mitigate risks. Key responsibilities also include maintaining compliance with the Bank's policies, procedures and regulatory requirements, collaborating with internal stakeholders to provide seamless client service, and achieving financial and non-financial targets, including revenue, portfolio growth and client satisfaction. Furthermore, the officer will contribute to the Bank's overall strategy by meeting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and performing any other assignment as assigned by the supervisor(s).
Eligibility / Qualification Required:
- Minimum qualification: Bachelor's or Master's Degree (as per documents mentioned in the application process).
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work effectively, and meet assigned targets.
- Basic understanding of banking products and services, with exposure to Commercial and SME Banking.
- Good geographical knowledge of the assigned area and surrounding business area.
- Sound knowledge of SBP Prudential Regulations and regulatory requirements related to Commercial & SME lending.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer relationship management skills.
- Strong sales orientation, with the ability to identify business opportunities and achieve assigned targets.
- Strong understanding of Credit Lending, SME Financing and Trade Finance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Excel.
