Eligibility / Qualification Required:
Your Missions:
- As a Manager, you will primarily support financial institutions (banks, specialized banking groups, financing and investment players) in structuring and transforming their ESG risk management systems, with a strong focus on climate risk.
- In this capacity, you will notably intervene on the following issues:
- Support risk, finance, or CSR departments in integrating ESG risks into their systems, in response to regulatory expectations (EBA/ECB).
- Lead maturity diagnostics and ESG/climate roadmaps: governance, methodological framework, indicators, reporting, and action plans.
- Design and deploy approaches for measuring climate risk on portfolios (metrics, segmentation, materiality, heatmaps).
- Conduct scenario analyses and climate stress tests to assess portfolio resilience (transition risk and physical risk).
- Support clients on portfolio decarbonization, financed emissions, and prudential transition plan topics.
- Intervene on regulatory disclosure issues (notably Pillar 3) as well as on review or sustainability audit missions.
- Manage missions (framing, monitoring, quality of deliverables), supervise teams, and manage client relationships.
- Actively contribute to the commercial development of the activity (proposals, offers, sectoral initiatives).
- Supervise and support collaborators to ensure their skill development.
Your Profile:
- Graduate of an engineering or business school or university, with a specialization in statistics, mathematics, quantitative economics, risk or equivalent.
- You have at least 5 years of experience acquired in a risk and finance function in banking, and/or with an asset manager and/or in a consulting firm.
- You are exposed to topics related to ESG/climate risks, prudential regulation, or modeling applied to the banking sector.
- You have a good understanding of the banking environment and its prudential challenges, and you know how to communicate with risk departments, finance departments, or CSR departments.
- You have concrete experience in several of the following topics: climate stress tests, transition risk, physical risk, ESG financial materiality, financed emissions, transition plans, banking ESG indicators, regulatory disclosures/Pillar 3.
- You are comfortable with data manipulation and processing tools, you are familiar with statistical analysis and modeling techniques.
- Capable of challenging analyses, producing with teams, and bringing real technical added value to clients.
- You have a strong client focus, good interpersonal skills, and an aptitude for commercial development.
- A sensitivity to quantitative tools, data, and technological/AI uses applied to risk management is an asset.
- Professional English level (B2/C1).
