About the role The Painter be responsible for maintaining the appearance and condition of guest rooms, public areas, heart-of-house spaces, and exterior surfaces through high-quality painting and finishing work. This role plays an important part in ensuring the property is well-maintained, visually appealing, and aligned with the organization's standards. What you will do Perform painting, finishing, and repair works throughout guest rooms, residences, public areas, back-of-house spaces, and employee accommodations to maintain the property's appearance and standards. Respond promptly to guest, resident, and departmental maintenance requests, ensuring timely resolution of painting and cosmetic repair issues. Assist with preventive maintenance programs and inspections to identify, repair, and prevent deterioration of painted surfaces and finishes. Estimate, requisition, and maintain painting materials, tools, and equipment required to complete assigned projects efficiently. Maintain accurate records of completed work, materials used, and maintenance activities in accordance with Engineering department procedures. Adhere to all safety, fire, health, hygiene, and environmental regulations while maintaining a clean, organized, and professional work area. What you bring Previous experience as a Painter in a luxury hotel, resort, residential, or commercial environment. Strong knowledge of surface preparation, painting techniques, finishing methods, and maintenance practices. Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple work orders, and respond effectively to operational needs. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship and presentation standards. Good communication and interpersonal skills with a guest- and resident-focused approach. Ability to work independently and as part of a team while maintaining safety and compliance standards.
