Transaction Services sits within PwC’s Deal practice and works closely with our Corporate Finance team. We are looking for a Manager to join our Transaction Services team in Tāmaki Makaurau / Auckland. You will be responsible for working on financial due diligence projects with our clients. These are full-time opportunities, working Monday to Friday, minimum 37.5 hours per week. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Performing financial analysis, including assessing historical / forecast earnings, working capital trends, and net debt / debt-like items (i.e. income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow analysis) Working with management teams to determine the ‘story’ behind the business and the key financial trends Preparing written financial due diligence reports Leading a team, sharing knowledge, and coaching other team members Leveraging GenAI, digital tools such as ChatGPT Enterprise, Arixcel, PowerBI along with PwC methodologies and quality frameworks to improve efficiency, consistency and client outcomes

This is an excellent opportunity to build on your existing experience, which will ideally come from a globally known professional services firm. We are looking for an experienced individual who can bring the following competencies and experience to the role:
- A minimum of 4 years’ of experience. Of this, 3 years’ will be experience working on high-value due diligence engagements within Transaction Services or equivalent, within a large international chartered accountancy firm
- Have completed a relevant qualification in Accounting / Finance / Economics / applicable field or a professional qualification such as CA.
- Attention to detail and maintenance of data integrity
- Strong report writing skills
- Excellent time management, and the ability to work with a number of different clients and internal stakeholders
- The ability to proactively learn new skills and competencies
