The main purpose of this position is to provide comprehensive dental care services to employees. This includes diagnosing and treating oral health issues, performing routine dental procedures, educating employees on oral hygiene, and ensuring the highest standards of dental care. The dentist works closely with other healthcare professionals to promote overall health and well-being among the workforce.
Eligibility / Qualification Required:
BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) from an institute recognized by PMDA with at least 2 years of relevant experience. Valid PMDC license to practice dentistry.
Job Description / Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough dental examinations, diagnose oral diseases, and create treatment plans.
- Provide a range of dental treatments, including fillings, root canals, extractions, and preventive care at the medical center.
- Take and interpret dental X-rays to diagnose dental conditions.
- Educate employees on proper oral hygiene practices, including brushing, flossing, and dietary recommendations to prevent dental issues.
- Implement oral health programs and initiatives in the company to promote dental wellness among employees.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including treatment plans, progress notes in the EMR system.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements for patient documentation and confidentiality.
- Ensure that dental equipment is properly maintained, sterilized, and in good working order.
- Oversee the cleanliness and organization of the dental clinic, adhering to infection control protocols.
- Order and manage dental supplies and materials, ensuring adequate inventory.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within the medical center to provide holistic care to employees.
- Communicate effectively with patients to explain diagnoses, treatment options, and post-treatment care.
- Provide referrals to dental specialists when necessary for advanced or specialized treatments.
- Stay current with advancements in dental technology, techniques, and best practices through continuing education and professional development.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations as per HSEQ guidelines.
- Participate in regular training and development programs to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
- The individual shall ensure compliance to the Enterprise Risk Management Framework enforced in the Company while performing job responsibilities in accordance with his assigned role.
