Ngā kōrero mo tēnei tūranga / About the role Be pivotal in the delivery of high-quality tax advice by joining PwC as Manager in Tāmaki Makaurau / Auckland. Due to natural growth in this Line of Service, we are seeking a Manager or Senior Manager to lead a team of experienced tax advisors who contribute to strategic tax reviews and drive innovative client service offerings, who can join the team on a part-time basis. Collaborate across the business and be innovative in your approach to working with high-value global clients. We actively use AI and digital tools to support high quality, efficient client service so being comfortable and curious with technology is a must. Being passionate about tax and having an entrepreneurial spirit will see you thrive in this rewarding environment.
Eligibility / Qualification Required:
- Significant, proven tax experience (over 4 years) in a professional environment, handling complex tax advisory projects.
- Strong understanding of tax legislation and revenue authority practices, gained in New Zealand or a comparable jurisdiction with similar tax principles.
- Proven leadership experience in managing teams or complex projects.
- Experience in business development and client relationship management at a strategic level.
- International experience when paired with New Zealand tax experience would be advantageous.
