Job Description

Your primary responsibility is to provide deep-dive analytical insights that directly support our

commercial and technical teams.

  • Advanced Deposit Analysis: Co-lead the full cycle of complex analytical investigations

regarding deposits and foulants found in membrane, hydrocarbon processing, wastewater,

boiler, and cooling applications. This includes:

  • Planning & Execution: Taking full project ownership from sample preparation,

planning, and prioritization to performing comprehensive analytical testing.

  • Identification: Applying a diverse range of analytical techniques to characterize both

organic and inorganic substances.

  • Actionable Reporting: Translating complex data into clear, actionable reports

providing critical insights to minimize operational failures and protect client assets.

  • Supply Chain & Technical Support: Serve as a key analytical partner for the Supply Chain and

Product Quality teams.

  • Quality & Compliance: Execute detailed analytical evaluations of process and water

treatment chemicals and raw materials for quality assurance, root cause analysis of

contamination, and new product introductions. Provide analytical support for EMEA

production facilities and contribute to REACH registrations and regulatory

compliance efforts within the EU, UK, and KKIDK regions.

  • Lab Excellence: Maintain and calibrate specialized analytical instrumentation to ensure strict

data integrity and quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Education: Master's in Analytical Chemistry, Environmental/Chemical Engineering, or a

related field, complemented by 2-3 years of professional experience in a similar analytical

laboratory environment.

  • Technical Core: Proven, hands-on expertise in:
  • Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR).
  • X-ray fluorescence spectrometry (WD-XRF/ED-XRF).
  • Core Competencies:
  • Strong conceptual problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to planning and

task organization.

  • Demonstrated ability to work productively within multidisciplinary, cross-functional

teams.

  • High digital proficiency, including experience with LIMS or similar laboratory data

management systems.

  • Full professional fluency in English (written and oral) with an aptitude for delivering

clear, professional technical communication to clients.

Preferred Qualifications & Attributes

  • Specialized Techniques: Technical proficiency in supplemental techniques, including XRD,

SEM, CHNS-O, TGA, DSC, and Chromatography.

  • Industry Expertise: Knowledge in one or more of the following: Membrane separations

technology, hydrocarbon processing, wastewater treatment, cooling systems, or boiler

operations.
