Human Resources and Payroll Operations in PwC Poland is a rapidly expanding team. You can play an important role in supporting and transforming operations of our domestic and international Clients. We continuously enhance our operations by applying best practices, streamlining processes, and integrating cutting-edge technological solutions for our customers. Join us in shaping and transforming operations for our clients, as we delve into diverse projects and collaborate closely with international expert consulting and compliance teams to provide comprehensive Payroll and HR Administration services across various sectors in the region.
Your future role: Own end‑to‑end delivery of German payroll services, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and a consistently high client experience, Execute payroll processes with a strong focus on data quality, validation, controls, and timely delivery, Manage salary payments in banking systems, proactively monitoring outcomes and resolving exceptions or rejections, Perform or coordinate statutory and compliance activities (e.g. registrations, tax filings), including oversight of third‑party providers, Partner with senior team members and stakeholders to respond to inquiries from local authorities and external institutions, Provide clear, accurate, and timely payroll reporting, identifying risks early and escalating proactively, Support year‑end and country‑specific payroll activities beyond standard monthly cycles, Actively contribute to process standardisation, documentation updates, and operational improvements, Use digital tools, automation, and data‑driven insights to streamline work, reduce manual effort, and support scalable payroll delivery.

Eligibility / Qualification Required:

  • 4+ years of experience in Payroll / HR Operations, including at least 2 years of hands‑on German payroll experience
  • Fluency in German (C1) and English (C1), enabling confident communication with clients, authorities, and international teams
  • Ability to navigate both detail‑level execution and the broader end‑to‑end payroll process context
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability for outcomes, not just task completion
  • Confidence in using modern technologies and AI-based tools in daily work (e.g. automation, data analysis, smart content creation)
  • Analytical mindset with high attention to detail and a proactive, improvement-oriented approach
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively in international, multidisciplinary teams
  • Good work organisation and prioritisation skills in a dynamic, deadline‑driven environment
