The Product Owner role is crucial for bridging product strategy with technology delivery by expertly translating strategic priorities from Ethics & Compliance leadership into actionable product plans. These vital roles provide essential support for the delivery of technology-enabled solutions, drive significant operational improvements, and lead cross-functional initiatives across the entire firm. As the portfolio of initiatives continues its rapid expansion, dedicated Product Owner capacity is absolutely required to maintain critical delivery timelines and support consistent, cohesive coordination across multiple complex projects and diverse stakeholders.

Working closely with experienced Product Managers (including Ethics & Compliance program leaders and SMEs), skilled engineering/development teams, and key business stakeholders, Product Owners actively support various critical activities such as meticulous planning, efficient backlog management, rigorous testing and validation processes, and comprehensive cross-functional coordination that effectively advance initiatives throughout the entire product lifecycle.

Responsibilities include: Bridging the Product Manager’s vision with development teams so that the product is built in alignment with strategic priorities; translating product vision and business requirements into Epics and Features that clearly define business problems and expected outcomes; continuously reviewing and refining the product backlog with Product Managers to maintain alignment with the product's roadmap and evolving priorities; facilitating and supporting Business Validation Testing (BVT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to confirm that delivered functionality meets business needs; supporting product demonstrations and stakeholder reviews that showcase features developed in alignment with the product vision; managing key product deliverables, including product roadmaps, Epics and Features, backlog prioritization, sprint goals, and release planning; supporting planning activities such as Big Room Planning, Sprint Planning, and backlog replenishment to prioritize work items, including technical debt and defects; assisting with ethics and compliance audit response efforts by coordinating requests, documenting results, and supporting remediation efforts; maintaining effective communication across project teams and stakeholders; and ensuring AI -supported solutions align with product strategy and deliver meaningful outcomes for ethics and compliance programs.

Eligibility / Qualification Required:

  • Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma
  • Minimum Years of Experience: 6 year(s) of relevant experience
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Degree Preferred: Bachelor Degree
  • Preferred Knowledge/Skills:
  • Demonstrates proven intimate knowledge of and/or success in roles involving project management, global delivery and continuous improvement techniques and tools that are applied across a broad spectrum of ethics and compliance processes and programs, preferably for a global consulting firm, emphasizing the following areas:
  • Supporting the execution of projects, driving change management and successfully delivering results by applying both US and international lenses and enabling cross-functional ethics and compliance-related areas to prioritize and execute multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Working with team members in the development of project charters that clearly define project mission, scope, key objectives and milestones.
  • Collaborating with ethics and compliance leaders and project teams to provide guidance and successfully implement change, translating strategic business goals into operational strategies and work plans.
  • Performing process improvement activities (assessing operating procedures (e.g., SOPs), team roles and responsibilities, developing RACIs and process flow documentation) in support of a wider ethics and compliance operational effectiveness capability.
  • Possessing the ability to communicate effectively verbally, in writing, and interpersonally.
  • Assisting ethics and compliance audit response efforts to drive collaboration both internally and externally on plans or requests, documenting requests and results, and supporting closeout and remediation efforts.
  • Developing and managing reporting dashboards and management reporting to leadership.
  • Working with teams in analysis and documentation of business processes to meet compliance needs, recommending technology improvements for compliance processes and integration of the processes with core compliance activities.
