The Tax Controversy & Dispute Resolution Team at PwC Poland consists of 25 professionals – tax advisors, legal counsels, attorneys, and trainees. We specialize in supporting our clients by representing them throughout various tax and customs-tax audits, as well as in tax proceedings and administrative court disputes. Over the years, we have successfully guided our clients through highly complex disputes, often valued at millions, and in some instances, even billions of zlotys.
We are actively seeking a dedicated Consultant to join our dynamic team. Your future role will primarily involve close collaboration with experienced team members on the comprehensive handling of intricate tax controversies and legal disputes. This includes representation before tax authorities, administrative courts, the Constitutional Tribunal, and the Court of Justice of the European Union. Additionally, you will provide crucial support to clients in non-tax disputes, assist with ongoing interactions with tax authorities, and contribute to the preparation of drafts for comments, procedures, analyses, and reports concerning various tax and procedural issues. Eligibility / Qualification Required:
- You aspire to become a litigation lawyer specializing in tax disputes in the near future.
- You enjoy engaging in discussions and, crucially, can articulate and substantiate your own position effectively.
- You possess a keen interest in procedural issues and the practical application and creation of law at both national and European levels.
- You are unafraid of challenging client problems and are proactive in addressing them.
- You have 1-2 years of relevant professional experience.
- You hold a legal education.
- You are proficient in tax and court procedures and possess a solid understanding of substantive tax law.
- You can efficiently manage and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- You are capable of working both independently and effectively within a team environment.
- You demonstrate familiarity with new technologies and AI-based tools for daily work, such as task automation, information analysis, and content preparation.
- You have a very good command of the English language (minimum B2 level).
