The Application Evolution Services team is a part of PwC Poland, specializing in IT Service Management (ITSM) and deploying innovative Customer Experience Solutions. Our core mission involves the constant monitoring of application operations, ensuring real-time response, and continuous improvement of existing products. We introduce new functionalities to help applications grow in parallel with our clients. We actively repair systems, create Change Requests (CR), document processes, and provide training to client employees, striving for seamless and unnoticeable support. Your future role as a System and Data Support Specialist will involve:
- Analyzing and resolving technical issues related to custom PwC ITSM solutions (IT service management solution / ticketing system) and Alteryx workflows supporting financial end-of-month closing processes.
- Preparing data models and reports in Power BI, utilizing the DAX language.
- Using Alteryx data pipelines collaborating with SAP S/4Hana to supervise financial end-of-month closing processes.
- Supporting the gathering, analyzing, and understanding of business and technical requirements.
- Providing 2nd line support and resolving tickets efficiently.
- Configuring ITSM solutions by working with JSON files.
- Analyzing, modifying, and creating Alteryx workflows.
- Conducting problem analysis to diagnose issues and understand root causes.
- Collaborating with 1st-Level support and 3rd-Level support teams to ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Executing minor projects and system changes tailored to meet specific customer needs and requirements.
- Maintaining comprehensive documentation of support issues, solutions, and project changes to ensure transparency and knowledge sharing.
Eligibility / Qualification Required:
- Apply if you have:
- Experience in IT support.
- Basic understanding of Alteryx and SQL.
- Good understanding of architecture and concepts of cloud‑based web platforms and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) in web‑based projects with hands‑on experience in software testing or programming.
- Experience in implementing and using Power BI.
- Knowledge of Power Query and DAX language.
- Familiarity with Git, CICD aspects and Data Concepts.
- Technical affinity for changing the JSON files.
- Good knowledge of MS Office (especially MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint) and MS Sharepoint.
- Good command of English, both spoken and written.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders (service team, development teams, product owners, service solution designers, architects, business representatives).
- Problem-solving and analytical skills, good organization skills and structured thinking.
- Strong proficiency in using new technologies and AI‑based tools in your daily work (e.g., task automation, information analysis, content creation).
- Nice to have:
- Basic understanding of SAP.
- Basic understanding of Accounting.
- Basic understanding of Python.
- Understanding of ITSM (IT Service Management).
- Knowledge of German.
