About the location: Four Seasons Resort Mallorca at Formentor, perched on the spectacular Formentor Peninsula and surrounded by panoramic views of the Mediterranean and the stunning landscape, first opened its doors in August 2024 following an extensive restoration and renovation of the historic property, originally inaugurated in 1929 on a vast private estate. After its successful debut, the resort will reopen to guests in March 2025, reaffirming its status as a unique destination of luxury and elegance on the island. About the role The Houseman plays a vital role in supporting the housekeeping department by maintaining cleanliness and order in public areas and back-of-house spaces. Responsible for assisting Room Attendants and other housekeeping staff, the Houseman ensures that supplies and equipment are readily available, guest areas are clean and well-maintained, and operational efficiency is upheld throughout the hotel. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing excellent service to guests and team members. What you will do Maintain cleanliness and order in public areas including lobbies, corridors, stairwells, elevators, and back-of-house spaces. Assist Room Attendants by delivering clean linens, amenities, and supplies to guest rooms and housekeeping carts. Collect and transport soiled linens, trash, and recyclables from guest rooms and public areas to designated disposal points. Ensure housekeeping equipment and carts are stocked, clean, and well-maintained. Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests related to housekeeping and maintenance. Support the housekeeping team during peak times or special projects to ensure smooth operations. Follow safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff. What you bring Physical stamina and ability to perform tasks involving lifting, bending, walking, and standing for extended periods. Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. A positive, team-oriented attitude and willingness to assist colleagues as needed. Good communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members. Reliability and flexibility, including availability to work varied shifts, weekends, and holidays. Prior experience in housekeeping or a similar role is a plus but not required. Legal authorization to work in Spain.
