Role Overview:
The post is full-time and based at the Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre, Peshawar. SKMCH&RC, Peshawar is seeking the services of a highly motivated individual to undertake position of `Full Time Consultant Urologist' with a special interest in urologic oncology in the Department of Surgical Oncology at SKMCH&RC. The appointee will be expected to focus primarily on uro-oncology and provide urologic surgical expertise in the management of cancer patients. He/she will be expected to collaborate with other surgeons, anaesthetists, oncologists and others in the multi-disciplinary care of cancer patients. The post-holder will be expected to work with and support the established multidisciplinary site-specific teams, as appropriate, and will also be expected to take part in a full general surgical training programme, as well as in training postgraduate fellows in surgical oncology.
Eligibility / Qualification Required:
- FRCS with CCST in urologic surgery and / or evidence of satisfactory completion of sub-specialty training in urologic surgery and experience in uro-oncology.
American Board in Urology and experience in Uro-oncology. OR
- FCPS urology with recognised overseas fellowship in Uro-oncology.
- Full registration with the PMC.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
