The Digital&IPA Team at PwC Poland numbers almost 500 people. We are responsible for IT projects for Polish and international clients. We carry out many tasks, from designing, building, and implementing, through developing functional specifications, analyzing data in source systems, to defining business requirements, supporting testing, and creating mobile applications. Within the department, we provide IT advisory services, mainly for institutions in the financial sector in Poland and abroad.
We are looking for a: Tester Automatyzujący | Digital&IPA (Freelance) to join our team, focusing on cutting-edge IT solutions and digital transformation initiatives. This role offers flexible hours and remote work possibilities, ideal for a skilled automation tester.
Your future role will involve: collaborating with the development team to prioritize test automation, participating in the creation of dedicated IT solutions by designing, implementing, and executing automated tests, creating, executing test scripts, and implementing them in the CI/CD cycle, maintaining automated tests, creating scripts for generating test data, optimizing tests, managing the test lifecycle in dedicated tools, supporting developers in maintaining the highest quality of applications, and defining and developing processes to ensure the quality of IT products.
Eligibility / Qualification Required:
- You use English at a minimum B2 level in your work.
- You have higher education – preferably in exact sciences related to IT systems (mathematics, physics, computer science, econometrics, or other related fields).
- You have a minimum of 4 years of experience in test automation using at least one of the following tools: Selenium, Cucumber, Cypress, Playwright, Robot Framework, Testim, and/or Appium.
- You can write reusable tests / test scripts.
- You use AI tools in your work (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, etc.).
- You demonstrate analytical thinking skills.
- You have a basic knowledge of at least one programming language: Python, Javascript / Typescript, C#, and/or a scripting language at the level required for writing test scripts.
- You have a basic knowledge of SQL necessary for database operations.
- You know Rest API for testing purposes.
- You are familiar with QA practices based on ISTQB.
- You are open to diversity and willing to improve your own competencies.
Desirable:
- Experience working in Scrum teams.
- Experience with BDD.
- Experience with AI testing.
- Experience / knowledge of DevOps.
