As a
Test Director at PwC, you are responsible for the end-to-end
quality assurance and testing strategy across multiple clients, ensuring solutions are robust, fit for purpose, and ready for production. Working in close collaboration with the testing partner, Solution Lead, and Delivery Lead, you will ensure that testing is thorough, well-coordinated, and consistently aligned across all platforms and delivery streams. You will own confidence in the solution, ensuring that defects, risks, and quality issues are identified early and managed effectively through to go-live.
Key responsibilities include Test Strategy & Ownership, Planning & Execution (SIT, UAT, BPT, non-functional), Quality & Governance, Defect & Risk Management, Environments & Test Data management, Release Readiness assessment, and Stakeholder Engagement as a testing authority.
Eligibility / Qualification Required:
- Senior test leadership experience on large-scale transformation programmes
- Proven delivery of end-to-end testing in complex, multi-platform environments, including legacy integration
- Experience in government or regulated environments (desirable)
- Strong capability in test strategy, planning, and end-to-end delivery
- Expertise in non-functional testing (performance, security, resilience)
- Sound knowledge of test automation and modern QA practices
- Demonstrated experience leading large-scale SIT and UAT
- Effective leadership of distributed teams and vendor ecosystems
- Risk-based, detail-oriented approach to quality
- Ability to balance quality outcomes with delivery timelines
- Clear and confident communicator with senior stakeholders
