PwC’s Internal Firm Services (IFS) team supports the firm’s strategy and day‑to‑day operations by delivering high‑quality services across finance, technology, risk, compliance and business transformation. We work closely with global and regional stakeholders to design, implement and continuously improve solutions that enable PwC businesses to operate efficiently, securely and in line with global standards. We are looking for an EMFI Transition Lead to manage the end‑to‑end transition process for the implementation of PwC operating systems architecture across the CEE region. This pivotal role involves designing and executing the transition strategy across people, processes, technology, and governance, carefully considering local regulatory and business requirements. The EMFI Transition Lead will coordinate deployments across 27 countries, ensuring alignment with PwC global architectural standards. Key responsibilities include planning and leading roll‑out waves, system migrations, and the decommissioning of legacy solutions. This position requires managing critical dependencies between architecture, security, infrastructure, applications, and back‑office teams, in close collaboration with the Global Team. The successful candidate will oversee operational, technological, and regulatory transition risks, including meticulous mitigation planning and execution, while ensuring business continuity throughout the transition. Establishing and running transition governance, including program and project monitoring at both CEE and country levels, along with comprehensive progress reporting, are integral to this role. Effective communication with regional and local stakeholders, including Business Leaders, is essential. The EMFI Transition Lead will also be responsible for monitoring KPIs, budget, timelines, and quality of delivery, and supporting local organizations in change management and the adoption of new solutions. This position offers a significant opportunity for experienced professionals in large-scale IT and business transformation.
Eligibility / Qualification Required:
- More than 10 years of experience managing large‑scale transformation and/or transition programs in an international environment.
- Several years of consulting experience in TOM (Target Operating Model), reorganization, and transition projects, at least at Project Manager level.
- Experience working on the business side in an Operations Manager role.
- Knowledge of and experience working with back‑office functions, particularly finance, systems architecture, and IT.
- Proven experience delivering system or application architecture implementations across CEE countries.
- Strong understanding of system migration and transformation topics.
- Experience managing complex stakeholders in a matrix organization.
- Advanced competencies in risk management and change management.
- Ability to operate effectively in a highly complex and time‑pressured environment.
- Fluency in English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft tools, including MS Project, Excel, and PowerPoint.
