Join PwC’s Data & AI Consulting team as a Senior Associate AI Engineer, where you’ll design, develop, and deploy intelligent agent-based solutions that support meaningful change across diverse client accounts and projects. In this role, you’ll work closely with diverse cross-functional teams to build automation capabilities, enhance conversational experiences, and enable autonomous decision-making systems for clients. You’ll apply cutting-edge AI technologies to solve complex challenges, contributing to the delivery of innovative, data-driven solutions.

Eligibility / Qualification Required:

Role & Responsibilities:

• Design and implement agentic AI architectures using cloud technologies like AWS or GCP, open-source and third-party platforms (e.g., LangChain, Hugging Face, Rasa, etc.)
• Develop and integrate autonomous agents for task execution, decision-making, and multi-step workflows
• Build and optimize conversational AI systems including chatbots, voice assistants, and virtual agents
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and deliver scalable AI solutions
• Ensure ethical AI practices, data privacy, and responsible deployment of agentic systems
• Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and frameworks to enhance solution capabilities
• Demonstrate thought leadership in agentic AI and contribute to internal knowledge sharing
• Stay current with advancements in LLMs, multi-agent systems, and AI orchestration tools
• Participate in client workshops and technical discussions to shape solution strategy
• Contribute to reusable components, accelerators, and best practices for agentic AI
• Support proposal development with technical insights and solutioning

Background and Experience / Skills:

• The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in AI and machine learning, with a passion for solving complex business challenges through data-driven innovation.
• 3 + years of experience in AI, machine learning, or data science roles
• Strong proficiency in programming in Python, Spark, and familiarity with ML frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn.
• Hands-on experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and model versioning tools.
• Exposure to NLP, computer vision, or generative AI use cases is a plus.
• Experience using Generative AI models and frameworks e.g OpenAI, open source LLMs, Langchain, Hugging Face Transformers, Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG).
• Understanding of LLMs, prompt engineering, and multi-agent coordination
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, etc.) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Solid understanding of cloud architecture, data engineering, and model operationalization.
• Mentor and support others development, effectively communicate, manage client expectations, collaborate on successful project outcomes, working to clear deliverables.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical colleagues and clients.
• Applying machine-learning statistical analysis and other advanced analytics techniques to key business issues faced by our clients that can transform and improve their entire organisation.
