Your team: In a context of deep transformation of supply chains (capacity tensions, resilience requirements, cost pressure, accelerated digitalization), the Procurement & Supply Chain practice is strengthening its capabilities in direct procurement and end-to-end supply chain. We are looking for a future collaborator who will join a rapidly growing team with a dual mission: develop and structure a reference offer covering direct procurement and strategic and operational supply chain, and lead high-impact transformations for our clients, from strategy to execution, in close collaboration with sectoral, digital, and Strategy& teams. This role is for a senior profile, recognized for their business credibility, ability to structure complex offers, and develop a team.
Your missions for this Senior Consultant role will include:
- 1. Business Leadership & Delivery: Lead complex direct procurement and supply chain transformation missions, covering notably:
- Qualification and industrialization of critical parts and components.
- Definition of direct procurement strategies (make/buy, dual sourcing, regionalization).
- Preparation and conduct of strategic negotiations (materials, components, long-term contracts).
- Supplier development and performance (capacity, quality, costs, lead times).
- Analysis and optimization of end-to-end logistics chains.
- Supply chain risk management and construction of resilience models.
- Expertise in a specific industry (Aero. & Defense, automotive, mining,…).
- Provide high-level expertise to Procurement, Supply Chain, Operations, Industrial, and Finance departments.
- Guarantee the quality of deliverables, commitment fulfillment, and measurable value creation for clients.
- 2. Practice and Offer Development: Design, structure, and evolve Direct Procurement & Supply Chain offers, including:
- Direct procurement & strategic sourcing.
- Supply chain design, planning, and performance.
- Risk & resilience management.
- Digitalization of procurement and supply chain (tools including GenAI / AgenticAI, data, analytics).
- Contribute to the definition of differentiating viewpoints and value propositions.
- Capitalize on project feedback to enrich methodologies, frameworks, and assets.
- 3. Business Development:
- Identify and develop commercial opportunities with existing and new accounts.
- Lead or actively contribute to commercial proposals (diagnostics, business cases, transformation trajectories).
- Develop trust relationships with C-level and N-1 clients.
- Work closely with sectoral, digital, and Strategy& teams to address transversal issues.
- 4. Management & Talent Development:
- Recruit, supervise, and develop a team of specialized consultants.
- Structure the upskilling of teams in direct procurement and advanced supply chain.
- Play an active role in coaching, feedback, and career progression.
- Contribute to a culture of excellence, collaboration, and entrepreneurship.
Eligibility / Qualification Required:
- Experience:
- You have over 10 years of experience in management / strategy / operations consulting.
- You have varied experience in senior Direct Procurement / Supply Chain functions in complex industrial environments.
- Significant experience in end-to-end transformation projects.
- Strong exposure to international and multi-stakeholder environments.
- Key Skills:
- In-depth expertise in direct procurement and industrial supply chain.
- Ability to connect strategy, operations, and execution.
- Solid understanding of financial, industrial, and risk issues.
- Strong interest in digital and data topics.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, in French and English.
