The Trustworthy and Secure AI (TSAI) Lab at the University of New Brunswick (UNB) invites applications for a full-time Postdoctoral Fellow position (initial 1-year term and can be extended depending upon the availability of funding and satisfactory performance) starting July 2026. This position focuses on Secure AI and adversarial machine learning, with opportunities to work on problems spanning robust machine learning and attack and defense mechanisms. The position is supported by active research funding and offers fast onboarding with immediate project engagement, making it an excellent opportunity for Postdoctoral Fellow Jobs in Secure AI & Adversarial Machine Learning. The postdoctoral researcher will work closely with the TSAI Lab director Dr. Razavi-Far and his students on projects at the intersection of machine learning, AI, security, and privacy. The salary range is CAD $60,000–$75,000 per year, commensurate with qualifications, experience, and research track record.
Eligibility / Qualification Required:
- A PhD in computer science and related fields with expertise in adversarial machine learning and secure AI, as well as other relevant research areas. PhD must be awarded no more than five years prior to the effective date of appointment.
- Strong programming and experimental skills.
- Strong research background in machine learning, cybersecurity, privacy, or related areas.
- We are seeking candidates with a strong publication record in leading venues (e.g., ICML, NeurIPS, AAAI, ICLR, IEEE SaTML, USENIX Security, IEEE S&P, IEEE TPAMI), or clear potential to publish at this level. Ideal candidates demonstrate research independence, initiative, and the ability to drive projects toward high-impact outcomes.
