This is a great opportunity to be part of the Executive Reward team as a Senior Associate. In this role, you will, together with the broader team, be responsible for reward advice to various corporate functions, ranging from Boards of Directors/Supervisory Boards, Compensation and Benefits and legal departments, and remuneration committees for both listed and unlisted (family, private equity-backed) companies on all aspects of remuneration.
As a Senior Associate, your main task will be to provide support for:
- Strategic reward advice for executives, including plan design, benchmarking, (ESG) target setting, governance, tax, implementation, and communication advice in direct consultation with our expert team members;
- Design, as part of, for example, a merger and acquisition transaction, of an incentive plan for management that takes into account commercial wishes, tax aspects, the business plan, and contributes to value creation; and
- If you have a legal background; advising clients on the legal aspects of executive remuneration and the broader workforce (including regulations for financial enterprises, requirements for listed companies, drafting agreements and plan documentation, and general employment law advice).
The above is indicative of the work we perform as a team. Your experience with one or more of the above would contribute to the success of the team. Legal knowledge or background is a plus. The Executive Reward team consists of approximately 15 colleagues. As a multidisciplinary team, we uniquely offer integrated and practical solutions for complex reward issues. It's not one size fits all. We encourage you to be curious and to develop yourself (further) as a reward specialist. Eligibility / Qualification Required:
- Curiosity and interest in developing further as an executive reward specialist.
- Strong analytical skills and enthusiasm.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- A university degree (e.g., Business Administration, Human Resource Management, or Law).
- Able to maintain contacts with people in leadership positions, such as members of the Board of Directors/Supervisory Board.
- Able to independently manage your own time and work.
- Willingness to develop yourself and enjoy working in a team.
- Able to easily provide tailor-made written and oral advice to clients in English and/or Dutch.
- Legal knowledge or background is a plus.
