Description:

The Indus Hospital, Korangi Campus, Karachi has announced job vacancy of Cancer Registry Officer at Electronic Medical Records department.

The job responsibilities of Cancer Registry Officer at The Indus Hospital, Korangi Campus, Karachi are:
Responsible for reviewing, capturing and abstracting of pediatric tumor patients according to prescribed classification / procedure.

TASKS & ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• To capture and enter pediatric tumor registry patients basic information i.e. demography and cancer identification
• To enter detail tumor registry data in tumor registry software when eligible as per policy
• To update follow up information or regular basis
• To update query log whenever query arises after reviewing medical records and to resolve queries on routine basis
• Prepare standard reports from abstracted data provided under the supervision of Assistant Manager / Project Manager.
• Participates in clinical audit meetings to enhance accuracy of data and rectifies anomalies in the existing abstract.
• Any other task that is assigned by the Head / Assistant Manager EMR

Qualification:

• Masters in Physiology

Experience:
• Three (03) to Four (04) years' of Coding and abstraction Registry (Clinical)
