About the role The Catering & Wedding Manager manages all aspects of catering operations and wedding events, from initial client consultation through event completion. This role involves event planning, vendor coordination, budget management, staff supervision, and ensuring exceptional customer service. What you will do Meet with clients to understand their wedding and catering requirements. Develop event timelines, menus, seating plans, and service schedules. Coordinate all event details, including venue setup, decorations, and logistics. Conduct site inspections and planning meetings. Work with chefs and kitchen staff to create menus that meet client preferences and dietary requirements. Liaise with florists, photographers, entertainers, rental companies, and other vendors. Negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships. Prepare quotations, proposals, and event contracts. Manage event budgets and control costs. Process bookings, invoices, and payments. Maintain accurate event records and reports. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients. Address client concerns and resolve issues promptly. What you bring Bachelor's degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Event Management, Tourism, or a related field (preferred). Experience in catering, hospitality, banquet operations, or wedding planning. Strong organizational and project management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple events simultaneously.
