The purpose of this position is to assist in verifying the required documentation submitted with the request for the new industrial connection. The incumbent is responsible to assist in checking the accuracy, completeness, and compliant status with the regulatory standards by meticulously reviewing and verifying documents, aiming to streamline the approval and implementation of industrial gas connections.
Eligibility / Qualification Required:
Engineering graduate preferably in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Mechatronics with at least 1 years of experience.
Job Description / Responsibilities:
- Check if a comprehensive set of documents, including property titles, legal clearances, industrial layout plans, permits, and technical specifications are submitted with the application form of industrial connection and later ensure that submitted documents are legible and authentic.
- Check that submitted documents comply with local and national regulations governing industrial gas connections and ensure adherence to zoning, environmental standards, and other regulatory requirements.
- Participate in the scrutiny of technical documents related to the industrial facility's infrastructure, confirming gas load requirements, pipeline specifications, and safety considerations. Verify that proposed gas connections align with industry standards and SSGC rules and regulations.
- Assist in confirmation of the legal ownership and clearance of the industrial property by reviewing property titles and relevant legal documentation. In this regard, assist in initiating the necessary communication with coordination and legal section of Sales department for the purpose of preventing legal disputes that may impact the gas connection process.
- Assist in coordination with joint survey, costing, and job card teams to align document scrutiny with other phases of the industrial connection process.
- Provide support in communication of discrepancies or additional requirements to the concerned departments.
- Prepare a detailed scrutiny report outlining findings, discrepancies, and recommendations, and highlight any issues that require resolution before proceeding to the next phase.
- Assist in submitting the scrutinized documents and the scrutiny report to the designated approval authority within SSGC and obtain necessary approvals to proceed with subsequent phases of the industrial connections process.
- The individual shall ensure compliance to the Enterprise Risk Management Framework enforced in the Company while performing job responsibilities in accordance with his assigned role.
- The individual shall ensure compliance to the Business Principles and Ethics Policy / Code of Conduct.
- Undertake any other assignment as instructed by the immediate supervisor.
