Applications are invited for Operations Officer in Branch Operations at National Bank of Pakistan (NBP).
Eligibility / Qualification Required:
- Balancing of vaults, tokens, taxes, payable, receivable, fixed deposits, call accounts and other GLs at branch and confirm that balance available in these GLs is supported by genuine transactions and does not exceed the timeliness allowed for suspense accounts.
- Booking and clearing GL heads and inform Branch Operations Manager.
- Checking of Inward & Outward Clearing and inter branch transactions at the branch, supporting other team members with customer transactions during peak days.
- Maintaining ATM related GL heads and immediately informs the line management for any overage or shortage.
- Managing dormant and unclaimed accounts / serving of customer notices as and when required.
- Resolving queries / complaints regarding operations effectively depending upon the nature of complaint.
- Maintaining standards of customer service at all times to ensure zero complaint management.
- Completing tasks within specified time.
- Managing projections for all budgetary requirements, including but not limited to incomes.
- Ensuring timely and accurate manner.
- Ensuring Ledger Heads for assets, liabilities, income & expenses are balanced and free from any penalties.
- Addressing internal and external comments and observations.
- Optimizing and curtailing recurrence along with Branch Operations Manager.
- Managing documenters / documentation and ensuring comprehensive records maintenance.
- Ensuring all tasks are completed within specified Turnaround Time (TAT).
- Performing any assignment as assigned by the supervisors (s).
