MEPCO, a leading Public Sector Power Distribution Company with more than 5.8 million consumers, seeks to appoint a results-driven and visionary legal executive for the position at its Headquarters in Multan. The company operates across 13 districts in South Punjab and aims to ensure compliance, legal soundness, and governance excellence.
The position is for Chief Supply Chain Management, with 1 position available on a 3-year contract term (extendable, one time, upon satisfactory performance). The place of posting is MEPCO Headquarters, Multan, and the role reports to the CEO/Board of Directors.
Job Description:
- Develop MEPCO supply chain strategy based on organizational vision, mission and values.
- Manage procurement team to perform their duties as per PPRA Rules & Regulations.
- Lead all procurement tasks for equipment, supplies, and services necessary to support MEPCO's operations.
- Manage teams responsible for all inventory control and logistics matters relating to proper storage, movement and distribution of equipment, supplies, etc., to be delivered to teams of other departments in the company.
- Ensure effective utilization of the ERP system of MEPCO for optimal supply chain operations and data accuracy.
- Coordinate with other department heads to maximize effectiveness of supply chain operations.
- Updates supply chain framework periodically and validate Its adherence to changing geo-political (macro-economic) dynamics.
Eligibility / Qualification Required:
- Qualification & Experience:
- 16-years Degree (Master's preferred) in Supply Chain from a local/foreign HEC recognized university.
- Certifications/courses on supply chain management from institutions of repute.
- A minimum of ten (10) years of relevant professional experience, including five (05) years in a management position in a Department or in an equivalent strategic leadership position within a corporate organization, with due regard to the nature, level and strategic role of the job title alone.

GENERAL CONDITIONS & DISQUALIFICATIONS

A declaration on non-judicial stamp paper of Rs.100/- to above effect should be provided by the selected candidate as per specimen available on the portal with application.
- Candidate must provide the Police verification Certificate with application.
- The prospective candidate must be a Pakistani Citizen.
- HEC equivalence is mandatory for foreign degrees.
- Government/Semi-Government/Autonomous body employees must apply through proper channel with NOC of the respective department issued on its letter head, which will also be required on day of interview.
- Candidates shall be required to produce all original documents at the time of interview.
