This role is for a Finance Innovation & Transformation Lead on an 18 Months Fixed Term Contract (FTC), located in Jersey within the Business Enablement, Finance line of service, at a Senior Manager grade with 37.5 contracted hours per week.

The Finance Innovation & Transformation Lead is the central coordinator and delivery driver for the firm’s finance transformation programme. Acting as a strategic advisor and change agent, the role ensures that transformation across people, processes, systems and data is delivered in a structured, well-governed, and strategic manner. This role will support the Head of Finance and Finance Director in designing and delivering the finance function of the future, including enabling major financial management system upgrades and associated operating model changes. This includes leveraging best practices, technology, and innovation to deliver measurable improvements in efficiency, effectiveness, and decision-making for finance professionals.
Eligibility / Qualification Required:
- Qualifications & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Fully qualified accountant with a recognised UK professional designation.
- Skills & Experience Required:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance, with a strong focus on transformation and consulting.
- Proven experience in delivering transformation or change programmes.
- Strong project or programme management capability (formal methodology desirable).
- Deep understanding of finance functions, processes, and technologies.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience of systems implementation or digital transformation.
- Highly organised with strong planning and coordination skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
- Ability to work across multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership and team development skills.
- Desirable Skills:
- Experience in finance, corporate services, or operational improvement.
- PRINCE2/Managing Successful Programs (‘MSP’)/Agile accreditation.
- Experience within regulated, public, or professional services environments.
- Experience in managing and influencing cross-functional and cross-jurisdictional teams.
- Understanding of support functions in professional services.
