The IT Based Consulting team at PwC Poland consists of over 100 people. We specialize in connecting the world of new technologies with the world of taxes and delivering the highest quality services to PwC Poland clients. Our main domain is the implementation of tax applications, examination of ERP system compliance with tax requirements, and integration projects supporting clients' tax processes. Our competencies also include building dedicated technological solutions addressing clients' business needs and advising on the use of technology for tax services. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a Manager in Tax Technology to drive innovation and provide expert consulting services.
Eligibility / Qualification Required:
- Minimum 7 years of professional experience, including at least 1 year in a managerial or leadership role (projects, team, clients).
- Experience in tax, finance, or accounting, preferably in a consulting or project environment.
- Practical knowledge of at least one ERP system (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft/Dynamics) – from a business-process perspective.
- Ability to combine tax/financial knowledge with technology and translate regulations into system solutions.
- Excellent command of English – for work in an international environment, documentation, and client contact.
- Strong analytical skills, independence in decision-making, and results orientation.
- Proactive approach, readiness for development in the area of tax-accounting process automation and IT tools.
- Knowledge of new technologies and AI-based tools in daily work (e.g., task automation, information analysis, content creation).
Nice to have:
- Experience in implementing IT solutions for tax reporting (e.g., JPK, SAF-T, e-invoicing, KSeF).
- Participation in projects involving automation, system integrations, or regulatory reporting.
- Experience working with international clients or in cross-border projects.
