A career in Internal Audit gives you the opportunity to work with a wide range of clients to understand their objectives and key risks and ultimately add value by enhancing their control environment and business operations. As our Internal Audit practice in Ōtautahi / Christchurch continues to grow, we’re looking for an experienced Manager to deliver internal audit and risk management engagements with our clients.
Eligibility / Qualification Required:
- 5+ years' experience in an internal audit focused role and experience in a managerial capacity within a Professional Services Firm or Internal Audit/Assurance Function
- Strong understanding of internal audit methodology, risk frameworks, business processes and controls
- Previous experience developing internal audit plans and scopes that cover strategic, risk-based and operational areas
- Knowledgeable in integrating technology and data disciplines into delivery approaches
- Excellent report writing, presentation and analytical skills
- Proven experience in enhancing control environments through practical recommendations and internal audit advice that sticks
- Experience maintaining long-term relationships with a broad network of stakeholders and clients
- Well-honed project management skills with experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and prioritising appropriately.
