- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in corporate, government or consulting environments, with a focus on financial, commercial, economic or advisory work.
- Experience working in a professional services environment or Big4 would be an advantage
- A degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related field - postgraduate qualifications are advantageous, with CFA or CA preferred
- Strong commercial judgement, analytical thinking and the ability to understand clients’ organisations and the challenges they are working through
- Experience leading or contributing to complex financial or economic projects, with the ability to provide clear advice and quality assurance
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex ideas clearly to different audiences
- Advanced Excel capability, including structured worksheet design, formula-driven modelling, accuracy checks, and matching, summarising and analysing data. VBA macro experience would be a bonus
- A strong understanding of economic principles and quantitative methods, including evaluating market trends, policy impacts and economic risks
