Eligibility / Qualification Required:
We are seeking a qualified Echo Cardiographer to join our team in Abu Dhabi. This position is within one of the UAE’s largest government-affiliated healthcare networks, renowned for providing high-quality medical care and operating state-of-the-art facilities across the Emirate. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing echocardiography and other related cardiac ultrasound procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating cardiovascular conditions. Experience with pediatric patients is highly preferred. Other responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Perform echocardiograms (transthoracic, transesophageal, stress echo) as ordered by physicians.
- Conduct pediatric echocardiography examinations with precision and care.
- Obtain and review patient history and clinical data prior to procedures.
- Operate and maintain echocardiography machines and related diagnostic equipment.
- Capture and analyze ultrasound images to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals in reviewing and interpreting results.
- Maintain accurate patient records and prepare reports in a timely manner.
- Follow established safety, infection control, and quality assurance protocols.
- Keep abreast of advancements in echocardiography technology and practices.
Requirements
To be considered, you need to meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Cardiac Sonography, Echocardiography, or equivalent.
- Valid UAE healthcare professional license or eligibility to obtain one.
- Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience, with pediatric echo experience preferred.
- Strong technical knowledge of echocardiography techniques and cardiac anatomy.
- Proficiency in using advanced ultrasound equipment and software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
