The Digital& team at PwC Poland consists of nearly 400 people. We are responsible for IT projects for Polish and international clients. We carry out many tasks, from designing, building, and implementing, through developing functional specifications, analyzing data in source systems, to defining business requirements, supporting testing, and creating mobile applications. Within the department, we provide IT advisory services, mainly for financial sector institutions from Poland and abroad. We are currently looking for individuals for the position of Business-Systems Analyst.
Your Future Role:- Preparing assumptions and designing new systems/applications in the area of business and technical architecture (in cooperation with a technical architect) or modernizing existing systems in their natural environment according to accepted operating rules.
- Analyzing information needs and cooperating with the client to agree on system implementation requirements.
- Conducting substantive project meetings.
- Conducting business analyses and developing algorithms and implementation assumptions based on prepared methodologies.
- Agreeing on algorithms with the client and cooperating with the team of programmers to refine requirements.
- Solving algorithm-related issues arising during programming.
- Conducting tests to verify the correctness of the prepared solution and presenting subsequent software increments to the client.
- Conducting user training on prepared functionalities and cooperating on identified problems or the possible necessity to cover identified gaps in system operation.
Eligibility / Qualification Required:
Apply if you:
- Have higher education or are in the final years of study (preferably STEM fields: Computer Science, Econometrics, Mathematics, Physics, Finance, or other related fields).
- Have experience in a similar position at an IT company, consulting firm, or financial institution, related to at least one of the following areas: business requirements analysis and project specification creation, or system analysis.
- Are familiar with databases and SQL.
- Communicate fluently in English (min. B2 level).
- Are familiar with business issues in the scope of regulatory requirements and can create solutions in accordance with external regulations.
- Are a curious, creative person who not only wants to understand how a specific solution works but also needs to find the answer to why it works that way.
- Have an ease of understanding data aggregation levels and connections between them.
- Are able to use tools that support working with large amounts of data.
- Have a passion for order and like to explain the origin of specific dependencies and data arrangements.
- Demonstrate knowledge of new technologies and AI-based tools in daily work (e.g., task automation, information analysis, content preparation).
- Have the ability to combine business and technical knowledge, analytical thinking skills, and can build algorithms: mathematical, statistical, or others (programming).
Preferred (Mile widziane):
- Knowledge of SQL or the ability to use statistical tools (e.g., R, SAS, Python).
- Knowledge of data visualization tools (Tableau, QlikView, PowerBI).
