Eligibility / Qualification Required:

  Bachelors (Background of degree in the field of health sciences or Social science with experience in health or related field)

• Experience:

  Minimum 1-2 years relevant Experience

Job Description:

• Conduct mass screening for depression/anxiety at both facility and community levels
• Provide lay counseling and support to individuals found positive for depression/anxiety
• Maintain excellent records of client treatment progress.
• Establish a safe environment for people to discuss their personal issues
• Provide counseling to family members (if needed) of people with depression/anxiety
• Make home visits as required
• Conduct community mobilization activities, as required, for awareness-raising sessions
• Carry out research activities (data collection) as required by the program
• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all patients, conversations, referrals, etc.
• Perform other related duties as required
