A prestigious international hospital in Dubai is currently seeking experienced and patient-focused OPD Nurses to join its high-performing outpatient care team. As an OPD Nurse, you will play a key role in providing efficient, compassionate, and high-quality care to patients across a variety of outpatient specialties. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team committed to excellence in patient experience and clinical outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients in various outpatient clinics, including general medicine, pediatrics, dermatology, surgery, and other specialties.
- Assist physicians during consultations, minor procedures, and diagnostic tests.
- Perform vital signs assessment, patient history documentation, and pre-consultation preparations.
- Administer medications and injections as prescribed.
- Educate patients about treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care.
- Coordinate patient flow, appointments, and scheduling to ensure smooth clinic operations.
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records and uphold strict confidentiality.
- Adhere to infection control standards, patient safety protocols, and clinical quality guidelines.
- Provide culturally sensitive care and communicate effectively with patients from diverse backgrounds.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent from a recognized institution.
- Valid nursing license in the country of qualification/practice.
- Minimum of 2 years’ recent experience in an outpatient or ambulatory care setting.
- BLS certification required; ACLS is an asset.
- Preference given to nurses trained and licensed in the UK, Ireland, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, or South Africa.
- Strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and attention to detail.
- Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Adaptable, compassionate, and committed to delivering patient-centered care.
- Willing to relocate and work in Dubai.
