Job Description:
- Measures vital signs of assigned patients as per physician order, and record the same in the patient’s file as per the standard procedure.
- Perform rapid testing as ordered by doctor and do verbal screening if required.
- Reports any abnormalities seen in patient's vital signs, blood glucose level, oral intake or urinary output to the RN/Team leader immediately, in order to facilitate timely attention.
- Assists jointly with other nursing staff in transfer of patient's from/to bed, chair, wheelchair, stretcher (trolley).
- Assists with last offices including cleaning etc. according to standard procedure.
- Check medical equipmcnt for PPM, raise the complaint of faulty equipment and take follow-ups.
- TransPOrt patients safely by following body mechanics.
- Maintain work operations by following policies and Procedures.
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and staff development activities.
- Ensure that nursing practices are in line with institutional policies.
- Cleans and terminally disinfect thermometer and all other patient care equipment as per the standard of hospital and infection control policies.
- Perform bedmaking of assigned area and ensure Patient placed at clean linen.
- Documentation as per policy in HMIS.
- Maintains good working relationship with peers and other health care team members.
- In case of emergency or institutional need you may be assigned to different PCP sites.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
