Payroll Technology Implementation Senior Associate

Eligibility / Qualification Required:

• Education: Degree in an IT-related field (Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or equivalent).
• Experience: At least 4 years' experience in IT project implementation, ideally within payroll technology or HRIS environments.
• Track Record: Proven track record of delivering technology implementation projects end-to-end.
• Consulting Experience: Experience working within a professional services or consulting environment is advantageous.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong SQL proficiency, ability to write, review, and troubleshoot queries.
• Certifications: Related certifications such as Microsoft and database-oriented certifications will be an advantage.
• Analytical Skills: Excellent logical and analytical thinking, ability to dissect complex problems and deliver structured solutions.
• Methodologies: Familiarity with implementation methodologies (Agile or hybrid approaches).
• Domain Knowledge: Understanding of payroll processes and systems is a strong advantage.
• Communication Skills: Strong communication skills with the ability to manage client conversations independently and confidently.
• Work Ethic: Detail-oriented with a quality-first mindset.
• Team Leadership: Ability to upskill junior team members.
• Management Skills: Ability to manage multiple priorities across local and international workstreams.
• Flexibility: Flexible and able to work effectively within a shift-based system.
• Responsibilities include: Configuring, integrating, and delivering payroll technology implementations end-to-end on PwC's proprietary platform. Ensuring quality assurance by reviewing team deliverables, establishing clear standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Coaching and developing a team of associates, providing technical guidance and escalation support. Leading client and member firm interactions independently, managing relationships, queries, and project communications. Championing innovation by automating processes, building reusable tools, and adopting emerging best practices.
