Eligibility / Qualification Required:
Job Summary:Lead and Manage quality assurance and quality control processes while driving lean transformation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, reduce waste and improve product quality within the furniture manufacturing plant.
Job Description:
Quality Assurance & Control:- Develop, implement and maintain quality management systems and processes to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections of production processes, materials and finished products to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Identify and resolve quality issues, coordinating with production teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Train and mentor staff on quality assurance procedures and best practices.
Lean Transformation:- Lead lean transformation initiatives to optimize processes, reduce waste, and improve overall operational efficiency.
- Conduct value stream mapping and process analysis to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Facilitate lean workshops and training sessions for employees to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement lean tools and methodologies.
Data Analysis & Reporting:- Analyze quality and production data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Prepare and present reports on quality metrics, lean initiatives, and overall plant performance to management.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to quality and lean transformation.
Collaboration & Communication:- Work closely with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to ensure quality standards are met throughout the manufacturing process.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to promote quality awareness and lean principles.
- Foster a collaborative environment that encourages input and feedback from team members.
Qualification:- Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Quality Management or a related field
Experience:- 7 to 8 years’ of experience in quality assurance and lean transformation in manufacturing
Skills:- Strong knowledge of Knowledge of lean principles (Six Sigma, Kaizen).
- Strong analytical and leadership skills
- Proficiency in quality management tools
- Ability to drive change and implement solutions effectively
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
