Batterjee Medical College is seeking a qualified and motivated
Clinical Instructor to join the
Nursing Program. The role focuses on supervising and mentoring nursing students during clinical training, bridging theoretical knowledge with practical application, and ensuring students develop strong clinical competencies, ethical practice, and professional nursing skills.
Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Teaching & Supervision- Supervise and guide nursing students during clinical rotations, laboratory sessions, simulation activities, and practical training
- Demonstrate safe, ethical, and evidence-based nursing practices in clinical settings
- Facilitate case discussions, simulation-based learning, and clinical demonstrations
- Assess students’ clinical competence, skills, and professional behavior using structured evaluation tools
- Provide timely, constructive, and development-focused feedback to students
- Utilize educational technologies and LMS (Blackboard) to support teaching and learning
Student Support & Development- Mentor and support students in navigating academic and clinical challenges
- Encourage critical thinking, patient-centered care, and professional conduct
- Monitor student performance and contribute to clinical evaluations
Academic & Administrative Responsibilities- Participate in student assessment and evaluation processes
- Prepare course reports and maintain accurate academic and clinical documentation
- Submit grades, attendance records, evaluations, and reports on time
- Contribute to course development and continuous improvement initiatives
Professional Conduct & Collaboration- Adhere to institutional policies, clinical regulations, and ethical standards
- Collaborate with faculty, healthcare partners, and multidisciplinary clinical teams
- Participate in departmental meetings, workshops, and professional development activities
Community Engagement- Participate in healthcare awareness campaigns and community outreach initiatives aligned with the college mission
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
- Valid professional nursing license/registration
- Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience
- Teaching or clinical supervision experience preferred
- Strong clinical, communication, and mentoring skills
- Familiarity with simulation-based education and LMS platforms
